He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Autio and Terry Alatalo Autio (late Eino); his brother Dave Alatalo (Nicole); and his cousin Elaine Luukko. He is survived by: his sister Faye Alatalo; his sibling's children, Tara Turnbull (Kevin), David Turnbull, Dave Alatalo Jr., Emily Alatalo (Franco), Mathew True (Janet) and Patrick True (Meghan); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rowan and Nolan Jokinen; his aunt Theresa Tillman Dear (late Allan); his cousin Rudy Luukko (Patricia); and his friends, Kim and Charlie.
