He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Byrnes and Johanna Byrnes (Madigan); and his siblings, Clem (Dorothy), Reg (Lorraine), Jackie Foster and Michael (Marnie).
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Byrnes; his children, Bryan and Carey (Neil Higgins); his granddaughters, Johanna, Charlotte and Ashley; and his siblings, Terry (Sylvia), Martin (Beverly), Noreen Resmer, James (Jeannie) and Patricia Yantha (Ed). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Our Lady of Peace Church (Capreol) or Capreol Railway Museum would be appreciated.
