He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Ikonen (Ike) and Diane Ikonen; and his grandparents, Nels, Marie Thibault, John and Mary Ikonen.
He is survived by: his brother Jody Ikonen; his sister-in-law Renée Coulombe; his nephews, Sabastian Corbeil-Ikonen and Kaden Coulombe-Baker; his aunts, Elvi Riutta (Ikonen), Carol Thibault (Norm Chouinard), Joanne Thibault, Marie Poirier and Karen Thibault-Henri; his uncle Allen Riutta; and his cousins, Carol-Ann Frank, Allison (Riutta), Tim Riutta, Sean Thibault, Andrea (Thibault) Meinen (Jon Meinen), Josee Thibault (Jackson Murphy), Lesley Thibault (Chris Mitchell) and Gisele Lamoureux-Thibault.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel at Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1).
