It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John James Jones (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jones and Anna Jones; and his siblings, Dennis (Paula) and Dale (Michelle). He is survived by: his close friends, Paul and Lise Portelance; his children, Natalie Jones (Mandi) and Jonathan Jones (Casey); his grandchildren, Rylea, Hudson, Winston, Elianna and Vayda; and his brother David (Gisele). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
