He was predeceased by : his son Kevin Rankin; his parents, Kenneth Rankin and Catherine Sarah Rankin (MacIsaac); and his siblings, Christena Deveaux (Simon) and Alex "Mookie" Rankin (Shirley).
He is survived by : his wife Lorraine Rankin (Bourgeon); his son Kenneth Jason "Kenny" Rankin; his grandchildren, Savannah (Cory) and Jason; his great grandchildren, Ayden, Ashton and Axel; and his siblings, Catherine Trenholm (Ronnie), Marcella Watts (Garry), Geraldine Cameron (Sam), Janie Rankin, Sally Thomas, Sinda Dobson (Fred), Mary Stevens (Dan), Alexander Rankin (Roxanne) and Norman Rankin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in-law.
