He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Thomson and Anna Thomson; and his siblings, Isobel, Helen and Peter.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Thomson; his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Lise of Sudbury; and his daughter Kathryn (Nelson) of Gore Bay.
