He was predeceased by: his parents, Obediah Mason and Laura Mason (Donner). He is survived by: his wife Melda Rebertha Mason; his son Jason Tyrone Mason; his child-in-law Émilie Mason (Williams); his grandson Jaxson Maximus William Mason; his nieces and nephews, Paul Smith, Jacqueline Thompson (Pat Smith), Ian Smith, Danny Mason (Sandra Mason), Wayne (Robert), Barton (Colleen Barton) and Gracie; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Damien Mason, Nathan Mason, Yonnik Thompson, Yasha Thompson, Akeem Thompson, Lanice, Kyle Barton and Bria Barton.
