He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Bud" Hall and Velma Hall; and his sister Lynn Newstead (Douglas). He is survived by: his siblings, Brian Hall (Patricia) and Laurie Groulx (Gilles); and his siblings' children, Lawrence "Buddy" Hall of Brian, Douglas Newstead Jr., Scott Newstead, Jacob Groulx and Ryan Groulx.
