He was predeceased by: his former wife Rita Roach; his daughters, Sharon and Patricia; his stepson Marc (Tim); and his siblings, Bill, Peter, Theresa, Veronica and Judy.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Landry-Roach; his sons, Gerard (Murielle), Richard and Jason (Francine); his grandchildren, Thomasina, Mario, Curtis, Jeffrey and Spencer; his stepsons, Donald (Lynn) and Phil (Louise); his stepgrandchildren, Neil, Leah, Justin (Shannon), Joël-Philippe (Mélanie), Dominique, Patrick (Kayla) and Stéphanie (Randy); and his siblings, Simon, Jack (Anulah), Peggy (Ron) and Mary Catherine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
