She was predeceased by: her father Ronald Rowe. She is survived by: her husband Arnold Scott Fraser; her daughters, Jillian Kingsbury (Paul) and Liana Stevenson (Rob); her siblings, Cheryl Andrews (Bernard) and Gord Rowe (Brigitte); and her grandchildren, Graysen, Brooklyn, Emerson and Laurie.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides at https: /http://www.dogguides.com in Laurie's name, an organization she felt strongly about providing dog guides to Canadians with disabilities (autism, diabetes, seizure response, etc).
