Leah Viola Mercer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2022, at the age of 86, Leah Viola Mercer (Sudbury, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adeline LeGrow and Soloman LeGrow; her husband Howard Mercer; her son John "Tony" Mercer; and her siblings, Vera Kirby (Fred), Melvin LeGrow (Irene), Leonard LeGrow and Gerald LeGrow.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Mercer (Hope), Scott Mercer (Shelley) and Leah-Jo Mercer-Sbrega (Thomas Sbrega); her grandchildren, Tanis, Sydney Statulevicius (Kai), Ben Digby, Trisha Owens, Cory (Samantha), Cassandra, Erica, Jessica-Lea Kary (Mat Houle), Alex Poliquin, Niko Sbrega (Kelsey Huffman) and Cooper Sbrega (Brittni Rorison); her great grandchildren, Atlas Statulevicius, Charlie-Jo Houle, Carter Mercer and Gavin Therrien; her siblings, Florence King (late Alton), Jean Hill (late David), Joyce LeGrow, Phyllis Thorne (Clayton), Cecil LeGrow (Doris), Dexter LeGrow (late Margaret) and Grenvil LeGrow (Debbie); her siblings-in-law, Fredris Caines (late Stan) and Blaine Mercer; her family, Dr. Critchton and South; and her caregivers, Donna, Rene and Nathalie. She is also survived by Partners in marriage and family and partners.
In lieu of flowers a donation to St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre would be appreciated.
