Leonardo Sanchez Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonardo Sanchez (Sudbury, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Aniceta Sanchez; and his daughter Maria Teresa Sanchez. He is survived by: his children, Graziela Sanchez Cortez (Napoleon), Dr Angelita Sanchez and Inocencio Sanchez (Nely Lopriego); and his grandchildren, Paolo, Martin and Mackenzie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A prayer will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Patrick's Parish Church (39 Walford Rd, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E2H2).
Whether through his devotion to his family, his contributions to his community, or the quiet moments of love and laughter he shared, he embodied a life of purpose and grace.
