With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonardo Sanchez (Sudbury, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Aniceta Sanchez; his daughter Maria Teresa Sanchez; his parents, Fidel and Basilisa (Samala); and his siblings, Fernando Sanchez (Haruko), Felicidad Bogambal (Carlos), Soledad Sanchez, Elisa Dumlao (Jose) and Fidela Cumbe (Mario).
He is survived by: his children, Graziela Cortez (Napoleon), Dr. Angelita Sanchez and Inocencio Sanchez (Nely Lopriego); and his grandchildren, Paolo, Martin and Mackenzie.
Whether through his devotion to his family, his contributions to his community, or the quiet moments of love and laughter he shared, he embodied a life of purpose and grace.
