She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Devost and Augustine Devost; her husband Gérard Brabant; her children, Marianne Gauthier (late George) and Raymond; and her siblings, Elizabeth Devost, Thérèse Schmelter, Damasse, Yvon, Clairette Neault and Jean.

She is survived by: her children, Marcel (Pauline), Roger (Diane), Yvette Bélanger (Oscar), Rachel (Andy Bélanger), Claude (Lorraine), Nicole Slack (late Chris), André (Line), Michel (Diane) and Mona Roy (Jacques). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren, many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
