She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond McCarthy and Elizabeth "Betty" McCarthy. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Ashton; her sons, Brian (Angela) and Daniel; her grandchildren, Owen, Charlotte and Jack; and her sibling Shirley Simard (Gerry) of North Bay. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
