It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorne Armstrong (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on December 8, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lorne departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lorne. Though Lorne may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Ginny); his children, Madeleine (Doug Reaume), Melanie (Jason Yurko) and Tom; his grandchildren, Doug Jr., Hayden, Tanner and Ava; and his brother Norman of British Columbia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
