She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Desjardins and Lillian Desjardins; her brothers, Marcel Desjardins Paul (Jackie) and John Desjardins; and her significant other Lyle Lavallee.

She is survived by: her children, James Poirier Rick (Natalie) and Pam Poirier (Anthony Vocaturo); her grandchildren, Paige Poirier (Gabe) and Lexxie Vocaturo; and her friends, Angela Vaillancourt and Bruce Graham.
