She was predeceased by: her child Chris; her parents, George Murphy and Margaret Murphy; and her siblings, Hanorah Murphy, Michael Murphy, Donald and Sharon.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur Peach; her son Michael (Tracey); her grandsons, Sam, Will and Max; her nieces, Monica, Kelly and Michele; and her sister Joanne.
Whether it was working to provide health coverage in the time prior to universal healthcare, addressing the AIDS pandemic in the 1980s, or advocating for the establishment of geriatric services in Sudbury, her work helped provide excellent care and compassion to her community.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Louise Peach Memorial Award.
