He was predeceased by: his parents, William Laporte and Rose Anna Laporte. He is survived by: his wife Ada Laporte; his daughters, Leslie (Dean), Wendie (Don) and Tracie (Dave); his grandchildren, Nolan (Amy), Jade (Mackenzie), Jesse (Brooke) and Serena; and his great grandchild Addison.
