He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Sr. and Micheline; and his sister Alice. He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Jeffrey (Riki) of Sudbury, Steven (Stephanie) of Winnipeg and Melanie of Squamish; his grandchildren, Lukyn, Rain and Violet; and his siblings, Claude, Allain, Joanne, Michele and Linda.

As an expression of sympathy, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a local palliative care facility.
