Maria Jones Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Jones (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Federico Versari and Anna Luisa Versari; and her siblings, Paolo, Angelo, Lina and Nella.

She is survived by: her husband Dr. John Jones; her son Fred Jones (Michelle) of Nova Scotia; her grandchildren, Sara (Yanbo) and David; her nephews, Giorgio and Franco; and her niece Angela. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
