He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Szalai; his mother Cecile Szalai; and his brother Michael Szalai. He is survived by: his friend Marvel; his children, Emma, Julia (Dan) and Adam; his father Julius Szalai; his brother Matt Szalai (Sue); his siblings-in-law, Shelley Foy (Andy), Clara Cote and Emile Cote; and his sibling's children, Savanna (James), Shane (Jason), Andrea, Alyssa (Ivan) and Krystal. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; and many dear cousins and friends.
