Mary Teresa Polano Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 18, 2025, at the age of 89, Mary Teresa Polano (Sudbury, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bernardo "Benny" Polano; her granddaughter Pamela; her father Irving; and her siblings, Doug and Diane Pinard.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Polano, Gina Gifford (Doug) and Lisa Polano (Claudio Durigon); her grandchildren, Heather Cross (Al), Amber Katarincic (Dave Duhaime), Frank Katarincic, Jennifer O'Reilly (Mike), Courtney Gifford and Robbie Larose (Brooke Peterson); her great grandchildren, Xander, Jordyn Reid, Trinity, Scarlett Duhaime, Frank Katarincic, Shy-Anne Gagne, Jack, Ben O'Reilly, Mason and Lucas Larose; and her sister-in-law Judy Polano. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
