She was predeceased by: her husband James Pearson; her parents, Matthew Docherty and Peggy Docherty; and her siblings, Catherine Robertson and Mathew Docherty of Scotland.

She is survived by: her significant other Gary Usitalo; her children, Cathie Pearson of Cobourg, Peter Pearson (Cindy) of Sudbury, Patricia Stack (Mike) of Sudbury and Tracey Pearson (Mark) of Sudbury; her grandchildren, Tessa Pearson (Ciaran), Alexandra Logan (Devon), Chelsea Pearson (Evan), Avery Logan (Johnathan), Brandee Pearson (Lance) and Parker Stack; her stepgrandchildren, Julianna Usitalo and Timothy Usitalo; her great grandchild Benson; her children, Louis, Debbie and David; and her friend Shirley Stefanko. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
