Matti Vehkala Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 17, 2025, at the age of 76, Matti Vehkala (Sudbury, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Salme (late Ron Nelson), John and Sandra Vehkala. He is survived by: his spouse Gail Vehkala (Bellrose); his children, Aaron (Courtney Tessier) and Krissy (Tom Leinala) of Sudbury; his niece Susan; his nephews, Eric, Andrew and Mark; his in-laws, Debbie, Dan, Michael and Bev; his friends, Joanne and Gus; and his caregivers, Joel, Riva, Mel and Julie. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters in law.
