She is survived by: her children, Marti, Cori and Jana; her parents-in-law, Laimi and Niilo Niemi; her sister Mavaia; her sons-in-law, Bruce Dowds, Al Mallette and Jack Lahnalampi; her grandchildren, Carson, Pearse, Kieran, Jana Dowds, Miller, Helena Donnelly, Tamsen, Owynn, Tayte Lahnalampi, Dan Pierce, Addie Dowds, Andrew Best, Hannah Bocy, Hunter Sabzali, Josh Sbrega, Kelsey Lahnalampi and Sean Jessop; her great grandchildren, Millie, Brynn, Aili, Eliisa, Aada and Malcolm; and her caregivers, Josée, Emma, Brianne, Claudette, April, Solomon, Harry, Krista, Precious, Rachel, Nikisa, Peace, Nat, Rebecca, Tiffany, Rosanne, Gladys, Jennifer and Jamie.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Onaping Falls Legion Branch 503. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
