She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Howard and Elizabeth Howard; and her siblings, Darwin (Leone), Elwyn (Rita) and Margaret.

She is survived by: her husband Gordon Richard; her children, Ila Hanzel (Jim), Tracy Saarikoski (John) and Jordy Dahlvick; her grandchildren, Jenna-Lee Pfeiffer (Robert), Josh Hanzel (Sam), Ethan Hanzel (JayJay), Tatjana Dahlvick and Jamie-Lee Dahlvick; her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Sophia; and her close friends, Ray, Lynda, Bill, Val and Bob. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Minnetta's name can be made to her home church, Grace United Church, Sudbury.
