Mona Marie Polmateer Obituary

We announce the death of Mona Marie Polmateer of Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on August 2, 2026, at the age of 83. Mona will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her former husband Edgar "Shorty" Guitard; her grandchildren, Alexander, Rebecca (Aaron), Melissa, Justin, Kaitlin, Christopher and Paisley; her great grandchildren, Gracie, Liberty and Emmett; her parents, William Duplessi and Pauline Duplessi; and her siblings, Simon, Juanita and Betty.

She is survived by: her husband Derek Polamteer; and her children, Wayne Guitard (Carol), Keith Guitard (Katherine), Lisa Burant (Kevin), Terry Guitard and Patricia Graham (Jesse). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
