Murray MacQueen Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Murray MacQueen of Sudbury, Ontario. Murray, born on April 16, 1941, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his stepson Trevor (Kerri); his grandson William; his parents, Mabel (Kit) and Neil (Duck); and his siblings, Judy (Ray), Lynn (Craig) and Bruce (Brenda).
He is survived by: his wife Debra MacQueen; his children, Billie (Karen) and Shelley Wood (Troy); his stepson Ian (Allie); his grandchildren, Craig (Rachel), Natalie, Nicole, Hailey, Aiden, Ava, Grace and Liam; and his great grandchildren, Selena and Joey. He is also survived by many friends, nieces and nephews, in-laws.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Murray's memory can be made to The Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
