Nettie Slobodian Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nettie Slobodian (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nettie Slobodian to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peggy Marynuk and Stephen Marynuk; her husband David; and her siblings, Kasha Zarich and Carol (Nick).
She is survived by: her children, Dennis, Gary (Gisele) and Sandra Bradley (Moe); her great grandchildren, Mauro, Milena, Mason, Clara, Dalan, Alia and Tori; her siblings, Bea Gaba (late Bill), Peter Marynuk (Betty), Helen Zaharchuk (late Ted), Don Marynuk (Adie), Eddy Marynuk (Judy) and Bob Dymianiw (Andria); and her children-in-law, Donna, Gisele and Moe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church (40 Notre Dame Ave, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C5K2). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
