She was predeceased by: her son Ronald; her siblings, Orville Pennell (late Florence), Bobby Pennell (Jeannette), Marlene Kulczycky (Dennis Jakab) and Melvin Pennell (Margaret); and her parents, Austin Pennell and Velma Pennell (Rilley).

She is survived by: her children, Daniel (Wendy) of Orillia and Leslie (Lise) of Sudbury; her grandchildren, Joanne Wither, Kimberly (Guy Carriere), Jennifer (Jason Hudder), Tiana Wither (Colin Archambeault) and Kaylee Wither; her great grandchildren, Alora, Micheal Jr., Brooke, Aiden, Cameron, Liam, Emma and Justin; her sisters, Vivian Turcotte (late Rene) of Pembroke and Albina Girard (late Blondie) of Sudbury; and her pet Sasha.
