He was predeceased by: his wife Olympia Lavoie; his parents, Siméon Lavoie and Laura Lavoie; and his brother Aurel (late Louise). He is survived by: his stepchildren, Kharren Grace, Grace and Arnel (Cheyemie); his former wife Elaine Patry; his children, Shayna Lavoie (Kevin), Darryl Lavoie (Sylvie), Cindy Lavoie (Gary) and Kristopher Takimoto (Warren); his grandchildren, Kristen (Tyler), Hayden, Nolan, Emma, Payton, Greg, Eddy, Kiedis, Kesler and Asami; and his siblings, George Lavoie and Lucille St-Martin (Richard). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
