He was predeceased by: his spouse Aurore Ranger; his child Yvon Ranger (Ida); his parent Jean Baptiste; and his siblings, Conrad Ranger (Mary), Florence Paradis (Roger), Ernest Ranger (Claudette), Ernestine Lavigne (Rene) and Romeo Ranger (Marguerite).

He is survived by: his children, Paul Ranger, Pauline Ranger (Jean Yves Deschene), Thérèse Ranger, René Ranger, Léo Ranger and Lorraine Racicot (Louis); and his parent Eveline Ranger. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
