He was predeceased by: his parents, Raoul Sr. Gascon and Christina Gascon; and his brothers, Hector Gascon (late Claudette), Claude Gascon (Anne), Rolly Gascon, Reg Gascon and Roger Gascon (Lizette).

He is survived by: his wife Jeanie McDavid; his children, Richard Gascon (Bonnie), Rheal Gascon (Monique), Guy Gascon (Hélène), Diane Gaudette (Guy), Anne Gascon (George) and Georgette Gascon; his stepchildren, Gina Bernard (André) and Jason Grawbarger (Jo-Anne); and his siblings, Anna Lachance (late André), Fern Gascon (Claudette), Joan Brière (Maurice), Steven Gascon, Rachelle Carrière (late Norm) and Carmen Lemieux (Don). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
