Raymond Shelsted Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Shelsted (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Raymond may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Raymond touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Shelsted and Yvonne Shelsted; and his sister Lucille Thériault. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Shelsted; his son David (Mandi); his grandchildren, Maxwell and Holly; his sister Shirley Brinkmeier; and his niece Brenda Laurin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
