Richard Bailey Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 30, 2026, at the age of 82, Richard Bailey (Sudbury, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Alfred Bailey and Leona O'Bonsawin; and his siblings, Robert Bailey of Edmonton and Patricia Sigouin of Ottawa. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Bailey (Bawks); his children, Carol of Dowling, Lorne (Melissa) of Onaping, Darren (Marisa) of Ministic Lake and Colleen (Tom) of Onaping; his grandchildren, Katie (Josh), Briana (Ben), Cole, Riley, Chevy, Bailey and Lacey; his great grandchildren, Blake, Emma and Rooney; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Bailey and Phil Sigouin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In honour of Richard, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation, Arthritis Society Canada, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
