We are sad to announce that, on January 5, 2026, at the age of 79, Richard Vargo (Sudbury, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Janis Rossi (Ed), Patricia Martin (Amanda), Laurie Vargo (Reg) of Edmonton and David Vargo (Shelley) of Sudbury; and his parents, John Vargo and Muriel Vargo.

He is survived by: his children, Tricia Vargo (Jeff Weir) and Jamie Vargo (Jess); his grandchildren, Owen, Ella Weir, Lowell and Cale Weir; and his pets, Murphy and Jimmy.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society Day Program in Richard's name would be greatly appreciated.
