With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Jones (Sudbury, Ontario), born in Espanola, Ontario, who passed away on January 24, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sydney Jones and Norma Margaret Jones (Harris). He is survived by: the mother of his children Mary Ellen Jones; his children, Kelly Brooks (Scott), Robbie Jones (Vicki) and Nicholas Jones (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Macgregor, Sydney, Griffin, Bay, Quinn, Ainsley and Charlotte; his brothers, Terry Jones (Debbie), Jimmy Jones (late Teri) and Alan Jones (Denise); and his wife Mary Ellen Stefan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's honour to Hockey Canada Foundation - Assist Fund.
