He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Willgos and Edward Willgos; and his brother Tom Willgos (Heather). He is survived by: his wife Judy (Homsey); his children, Betsy Mitchell and David Willgos (Jenny); his grandchildren, Savannah Mitchell (Alhamd), Owen and Brooke Willgos; his sister Vivian Maloney (Jimmy); and his caregiver Jo Ann.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
