He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne D'Arc "Joan" Villeneuve; his parents, Ardias "Barnie" Villeneuve and Marianne Villeneuve; his son Richard (late Caroline); and his siblings, Marcelle Gauthier (late Vick), Dolly Bradley (late Maurice), Jeannine Bertrand (late Murray), Claire Sauvé (late Paul) and Gerry Villeneuve (late Liliane).
He is survived by: his girlfriend Aurore Dubé; his children, Gilles (Gisèle) and Diane Villeneuve-Bédard (Jean-Guy); his partner's children, Marc Dubé (Lucy), Claude Dubé and Carole Dubé (Rejean); his grandchildren, Natalie Bertrand (Bernie), Raymond, Manon Herdman (Pat), Andrew Villeneuve (Cindy), Justin Villeneuve (Helen), Tasha Howard, Ashley Howard, Danica Bédard and Josée Bédard; his great grandchildren, Brandon (Jaylin), Isabelle Bertrand, Livia, Piper Herdman, Bryson, Hailey Villeneuve, Lucy and Beau Villeneuve; his great great grandchild Eden Bertrand; his sisters, Lucille Gervais (Gerald) and Rachel Croteau (Don); Catherine Grenier (Aaron), Gabriel Grenier (Danielle), Sara Grenier (Tim), Isaac Dubé, Randy Dubé, Tana Dubé, Kenzie Dubé, Elli Benoit, Sophie Grenier, Nicholas Grenier, Olivier Mulindwa and Samuel Mulindwa.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cooperative Funeral Home (222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, ON P3A1W5). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Pins Church (14 Beech St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C1Z2).
