He was predeceased by: his parents, Edouard Demers and Yvonne Roberge (Armand Roberge); and his brothers, Rhéal (late Therese) and Albert (Denise). He is survived by: his wife Colette Demers (Lemieux); his children, Ginette Bélanger (Guy), Gilles Demers (Melina) and Miriam (Ethier); his grandchildren, Patrick Gagnon (Sam), Alain Gagnon (Deanna) and Mireille Ethier (Jean-Luc); his great grandchildren, Théo and Benjamin; and his sisters, Madeleine (Denis), Henriette (late Wille) and Colombe (late Bobby).
