He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnet Harmer and Mildred Harmer; his siblings, Raymond, Betty, Geraldine and Barry; and his brother-in-law Reginald.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Harmer; his siblings, Bella (Bob), Carol (Wayne), Gail and Garnet Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Carrie, Jane, Raynald, Robert, Leonard, Ernest, Michael and Peter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
