He was predeceased by: his brother Kim McPhee (Marla). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth McPhee (Bette); his son Sterling Charles McPhee (Jess Whalen); his grandson Reign Whalen McPhee; his foster son Joey Wayne Belanger; and his mother Marjorie McPhee. He is also survived by nephews, sister and brothers-in-law, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the North Edge Church (Formerly New Sudbury Pentecostal Church) (264 Levesque St, Sudbury, ON P3B3T4).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ron's memory to a trust fund for, his grandson, Reign Whalen McPhee.
