He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Dubois and Cécile Poirier; and his siblings, Armand "Tarz", Reg, Rheal (late Marie-Claire), Robert, Jeannine, Paul and Claudette.

He is survived by: his siblings, Jacky Asselin (late Jean-Guy Sr.), Roger Poirier (Kim), Normand Poirier (Gilbette) and Rita Matusiak (Steve); and his friend Rick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
