We are sad to announce that, on March 31, 2026, Ronald Rivais (Sudbury, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Rivais (Gour); his child Baby Pierre; his parents, Joseph Rivais and Alice (Branconnier); his sisters, Della (late Vincent Mulville), Jeannine (late Joseph Cesnek) and Florence (late Phillip Stark); and his cousin Noella (late Albert Kruk).
He is survived by: his children, Denis Rivais (Lise), Diane Smith (Darren) and Michelle Ongaro (John); his sisters, Jeannette Rivais and Grace (late Fernand Leblanc); his siblings-in-law, Joan Oancia and Lenord Gour (Betty); and his caregiver Brigette Gravelle.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or HSN – Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
