He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen (Larochelle); his children, Larry, Lori Petty (Wayne) of Calgary and Natalie Carroll (Steve) of Garson; his grandchildren, Allan, Mark, Michael (Heather) and Kaylee; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Joshua and Lincoln; his sister Darlene Holatko (James) of Calgary; and his parents, Gerald Ross and Rolande Ross. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
