She was predeceased by: her mother Elmi Ojanpera Vainikainen; her stepfather Leo Nurmi; her significant other Raymond Marleau; her son Michael Victoria Creighton (Olga); and her grandson Kurtis.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth-Ann McDonald (Scott) and Matthew (Michelle); her grandsons, Christopher (Aja), Nicholas (Dee) and Sasha (Samira); and her great grandchild Kasha.
