He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Chretien and Annette Chretien; his siblings, Yves (late Sharon), Alain (Lucy), Guy and Diane (Claude); his wife Christine; his daughters, Madeleine (Marc) and Natalie (Stephane); his grandfathers, Serge, Mila, Noah, Alexandre, Marlowe and Maxwell; and his siblings' children, Sam (Laurie) and Sylvie (Eric).
