Simon R. Guillet Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025, Simon R. Guillet (Sudbury, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, René Guillet Sr. and Albertine; his siblings, Hubert, Gérard, Léon (Rita), Maurice (Lil), Eva Witiw, Rita Pauzé, Simone Brisebois (Maurice) and Doris Cunningham (Chester); and his parents-in-law, Donat and Adela Lebrun (Robineau).
He is survived by: his wife Rachel; his children, René (Sue), Gisèle Young and Daniel (Kelly); his grandchildren, Ryan (Sophie), Sarah (Frank), Lina (Mat), Ron (Keesha), Ashley (Jordy), Melissa (Eric), Danica and Mathieu; his great grandchildren, Jérémie, Clara, Caleb, Léa, Olivier and Rosalie; his sister-in-law Lil Guillet (Brisebois); and also, Roberte Beauchamp (Barry) of Sturgeon Falls, Linda Lamarche (Roger) of Sturgeon Falls and Maurice Brisebois. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, in-laws, cousins, friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ste Marguerite D'Youville Church (4290 Old Hwy 69, Val Therese, ON P3P1S7).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in his name to Health Sciences Foundation – Northern Cancer Fund, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Maison McCulloch Hospice.
