She is survived by: her spouse Veikko Porkola; her children, Tuula (John), Marja (Darwin), Mike (Julie) and Mark; her siblings, Sanni (Voitto), Maija (Markku), Kaija and Ahti (Tuula) of Finland; and her goddaughter Mari (JG) of Alberta. She is also survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews.
