He was predeceased by: his stepson Duane Drager; his parents, Clifford True and Margaret True; and his sisters, Patricia Peterson, Elaine Lalonde (Joe) and Barbara Laframboise (Gerry).

He is survived by: his spouse Vieno True; and his siblings, Bev Leroux (late Ray), Cathy Proulx (late Ray), David True (Nancy) and Bruce True. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
